A thousand years ago, Matteo Scalera and I did a book. It was called Dead Body Road, and it was dope. If I were compotent at….well,life, really,. I’d have some images and a link to buy it.
Anyway, it was mostly awesome because of Matteo. At one point, he drew a very brief car chase so well that I made an entire issue a car chase. Which, amazingly, Matteo has (probably) forgiven me for.
Matteo went on to do a bunch of cool stuff, probably most famously Black Science with Rick Remender. Which you should also read and I should also have some kinda affiliate link to.
Now, Matteo has written and drawn his own thing,The Fourth Father. which is live on Kickstarter. It’s already way, way past their funding goal and the book is almost all done, so it’s a pretty no risk proposition for you. It’s a reflection on fatherhood with a touch of superhero nostalgia, according to Matteo.
And it looks awesome. Because Matteo is better at life than me, I actually can show you that.
